Eyes - The Horror Game

Anyone who looks twice at those things that go bump in the night will get a kick out of Eyes – The Horror Game, a new and terrifying entry in the world of horror games.

This game takes a cue from the Slenderman legend to make you look at your computer in a whole new way. The internet legend of Slenderman says that he is a mystical creature who appeared in photos for decades. He always seems interested in the children around him and never grows or ages. The scariest thing about Slenderman is that he lurks in the shadows and can stalk you without you ever knowing it. With this game, you'll find yourself terrified of a whole new creature.

Eyes – The Horror Game sends you to a spooky house in the middle of nowhere to find bags of cash hidden around each room. The easiest level requires that you find 12 bags, but when you select the hardest setting, you must find 30 bags. Finding the cash isn't easy, though, because there is a supernatural presence stalking you. That spirit will leave images of bright red eyes on the walls, which is a clear sign that you need to leave and find a new room to explore.

The game is extremely dark, which will turn off some players because they have a hard time seeing the bags. You may need to adjust your screen contrast to see things more clearly. You can use your mouse to move through the house, and with just one button, you can pick up each of the bags that you find. If you move too slowly, you'll encounter the ghostly presence in the house. When she jumps out of the shadows, your heart might jump out of your chest.

While there are some lag issues, Eyes – The Horror Game is very challenging. Unlike other demos that only give you one level or world to explore, this demo lets you move through most areas of the house. As the game randomly places the bags of cash in that house, the demo will change every time you load it. After playing the demo a few times though, you may find that you tire of doing the same thing time after time. For those who can't get enough of spooky and scary stuff, Eyes – The Horror Game will leave them on the edge of their seats.
